I’ve heard this advice, and given it, so many times in my life; but somehow, when it came to launching a YouTube channel and really putting myself out there, I looked for every excuse as to why this just wasn’t the best time. Perhaps I needed to get better equipment first? Maybe I needed to watch more YouTube videos to get some more inspiration, or at least an idea as to what sort of format I needed to follow. Maybe there was some YouTube course that I needed to look into. I started feeling intimidated, very intimidated.
Then I remembered my “Why”:
I’m here to encourage, uplift, support and motivate you to live a life full of meaning and purpose, a life that just feels good in your soul.
I don’t have to think, or even try to remember my why – it’s always front and center in my thoughts. So I got to thinking – is there ever a bad time to start sharing encouraging messages on the internet? Well, I couldn’t’ see a reason why I should wait – so I went for it! Creating a YouTube channel was a HUGE step for me (I like to remain very comfortable and secure in the background) but I also see tremendous value in stepping outside of your comfort zone, especially if your personal mission is driving you to do just that.
